Heath is wealth. What better thing to do then taking walks outside and enjoy summer ? But wait. Let’s not just walk….Lets Walk for a cause. Saraswat foundation is arranging a virtual walkathon for us all.
Once you join the walkathon you will walk in our own areas morning and evening or once daily or once a week but every step counts. We encourage you to form groups if you like to walk with someone. Explore your neighborhood, nearby parks or nearby hikes. You just have to keep track of steps you take and report it back at each milestone.
We all will improve our health and in turn may gain more walking buddies. Some might get to spend more family time outside rather than cooped up in the house. We might find some new parks in our area we have not ever been to. Whatever you gain there is nothing to Lose. In process of helping ourselves we will help others. We want everyone to continue walking even after challenge is over.
But to top it all we will also have lucrative prizes for winners in following categories:
First thing first ! We will be walking with you all daily. We will also create a WhatsApp group of all walkers where we can share and chat about our walkathon. We will share fun tidbits, pictures and updates of walkathon throughout 2 weeks. At end of the walkathon we will declare winners !
